Site with informative articles on special programs for infants through adults, scholarship programs, newspapers, training for parents of blind children, orientation and mobility training. Links to blindness related sites.
Section for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (SBPH) -
Service to the Blind and Physically Handicapped is a free library service given to anyone in the state of Louisiana who is unable to read standard print due to a permanent or temporary visual or physical disability.
PrimeCare Orthotics and Prosthetics -
PrimeCare has 8 locations in Louisiana serving the needs of persons who seek certain types of orthotic and prosthetic appliances.
Louisiana Rehabilitation Services 
A division of the Louisiana Dept. of Social Services, this section of their web site provides a wealth of information relevant for persons with disabilities who seek assistance in returning to work.

Bancroft NeuroHealth -
Bancroft operates two Louisiana facilities that offer special pediatric and adult programs for persons with neurological disabilities including autism and brain injury. Other services include community living programs and vocational programs.

Northwest Louisiana Brain Injury Support Group meets first Tuesday of each month at Summit Hospital, 4900 Medical Drive, Bossier City. Meeting begin 7:00 pm .
