Forearm Tendonitis

Tendonitis is inflammation, irritation, and swelling of a tendon, which is the fibrous structure that joins muscle to bone. There fore Forearm Tendonitis would be inflammation of the tendons in the fore arm. There is not one condition that can be considered Forearm Tendonitis but rather there are several forms of Tendonitis that can cause discomfort in the forearm.

Types of Forearm Tendonitis

deQuervain's Tendonitis is a condition brought on by irritation or swelling of the tendons foundalong the thumb side of the wrist

Lateral epicondylitis is a condition when the outer part of the elbow becomes painful and tender, usually as a result of a specific strain

Medial Epicondylitis Medial Epicondylitis or golfer's elbow is similar to tennis elbow. The pain focus is the knobby bump on the inside of the elbow closest to the body (the medial side), so it is technically known as medial epicondylitis.
