I have searched for an explanation of what ACTH and hormone autoantibodies. I can find no clear explanation in the medical texts. I will give you the best definition I can.

Autoantibodies are abnormal antibodies produced against the body's own tissues.

ACTH autoantibodies are a type of Pituitary hormone autoantibodies.

Pituitary hormone autoantibodies are found in 45% of patients with pituitary disease. These hormones are not found in healthy patients.
