Broken Elbow

The elbow is the joint where the radius and ulna bones of the lower arm meet the humerus bone of the upper arm. A broken elbow is a fracture near the end of one of the bones near the elbow.

 

 

Types of Broken Elbow

Supracondylar Fracture is a fracture at the bottom of the humerus bone, just above the elbow joint.

Olecranon Fracture is in the tip of the elbow you can feel under the skin.    

Capitellum Fracture is in the part of the elbow joint itself and forms the joint between the radius and the humerus bones

Coronoid fractures is in the small area of bone at the front of the elbow on the ulna bone

Radial Head Fractures is a fracture in the end of the radius called the radial head
